Pure Data Bonus Beats
Переглядів 1,5 тис.6 років тому
A midi piano keyboard, plus an abstraction that generates 16 step rhythm patterns from a random float... "bonus beats" I open up the keyboard abstraction @ 1:59 All sounds produced by PD... no samples. If you like this I created a playlist that has two other unlisted videos with alternate versions
Pure Data Modes
Переглядів 1,3 тис.8 років тому
This patch limits note values to one of the modes of the major scale. C Dorian, C Lydian, C Mixolydian... etc.
Pure Data Sequencer 2015
Переглядів 38 тис.8 років тому
8x8 controller, chord device, an FM synth and other goodies. No samples on this one all the sounds are generated with Pd.
Pure Data Composition

I used Pure Data for the midi sequencing on this... the sounds are from ZynAddSubFX.
Pure Data Scales
Переглядів 4,7 тис.10 років тому
This pure data patch creates glissandos of various musical scales and modes. (major, wholetone, aeolian, dorian, lydian, blues and pentatonic. My current computer is too slow to capture the colored bangs as they happen. They aren't showing up like they should. I may upload a better version sometime.
superb!
☄️ so good!! Where can I listen to your stuff, besides here? ☄️
amazing use of cuíca
how you record all the patch in good quality?
This is really cool
OK I know you most likely won't give out any patches but where can i learn to make stuff like this? what plugins to you recommend for making stuff like this?
Nice work on the sequencer but wish I hadn't heard the 'worst of 1999' muzak demo.
Really, crazy man
All the sounds are generated with pd?
Yes, this is all pd.
Crust almighty I think I fellen in love wif you!!
Algorithmic house music, huh? Very nice. I'm still learning Pure Data so this stuff is taking some time for me to get familiar with it. Thanks for the upload.
Wow, impressive!
have you any music released?
I think it's the sexiest PD patch I've ever seen
Hey, cool project! How did you do the coloured lights for the squares on the kick clap etc.?
Okay, those black LED pads are a toggle with both the foreground and background both set to black. So you never see an "x" at all. but the toggle changes the color of two slightly larger canvases behind it with a color messagebox [color $1 < This link has the basic technique i use for changing the color of a canvas: (5.2.2.3) pd-tutorial.com/english/ch05s02.html
Really nice. Thank you!
really good music
Beautyfull patch! Contrats 🙂
your videos rock. will you publish any of your pd sketches?
This is so dope! Had no idea pure data was capable of this. Plus this jam is off the chain! Thanks for the content :-)
like it!!
Yes!
wow this is amazing. Put a hardware box around it and take my money! Btw. these warm chords are also fm synthesis?
Thank you. The presets are mainly fm... a few chords that you hear are additive with a filter sweeping over them.
Never seen PD looking so good!
Hi I really like your work! It's amazing!! how did you make this? I'm using pd on raspberry pi and I'm planning to make piano notes sound. Could you give me some hints, please?
Incredible... :)
Dude, you've got soul
holy wow-zerz this is excellent! How long did it take you to learn PD and create this... words fail me I know little to nothing about PD but it looks like you've created an entire virtual studio with synths (?) and/or samplers and an incredibly intuitive and flexible sequencer. I'd love to learn more about how you put this together?
I've been using PD for 5 years or so. Actual creation time on these sequencers vary... most of them evolve within a few weeks, but i keep tweaking them for months. I'm going to try to post more videos in the near future with more peeks inside how I do things. Thanks for watching and commenting!
this is awesome. are you combining patches or this your custom work
This is pretty much all me. Pd extended has a sampler example that I used to make the sampler voices. Thanks for watching and commenting.
this is fucking awesome man. would love to know how the hell u did that!
great gui do you share the gui objects?
Would love to see some of the subpatches you've got going on this one?
This is probably the most gorgeous PD script I've ever seen. I had no idea PD could do these types of visuals. I really gotta get into this and find out more about what you're actually doing. Love the sound too.
That organ sounds beautiful!
beautiful work
Meant to comment a long time ago. Awesome.
thats some great groove gj!
Your synths sound so good! Really surprised to hear this come out of pd, no DAW in sight.
coooooool!
amazing
Inspiring.
really well done Michael, super cool!
is this patch anywhere? cheers!
